The CIO Insurance Summit has announced that Matthew Josefowicz of Novarica - the leading provider of information to insurance executives - will preside as Master of Ceremonies at the December 6 - 9, 2009 event.

Matthew Josefowicz is the director of the insurance practice at Novarica. He has presented his research at numerous industry conferences and has worked directly with many U.S. and International insurer CIOs to advise them on IT strategy and solution selection. Prior to launching the insurance practice at Novarica, he founded the global insurance group at analyst firm Celent and led it for more than six years. His other experience includes work at hedge fund D.E. Shaw & Co., LP.
As the Master of Ceremonies, Josefowicz will welcome CIO Insurance Summit attendees in the opening address on Sunday, December 6.
